Walk-in computer and technology training.
Tutor Time is a walk-in, question and answer session designed to give you time to get computer help. Bring your computer questions (and your computer, if you would like) and our Computer Tutor will work with you to find answers during each one-hour session. Many people will be helped during each session, but everyone gets one-on-one time with the instructor. First come, first served, up to 5 people per session. No registration necessary.
If you can't make this class, you can still learn about computers and technology on your own time, using your WNPL library card. Check out our LinkedIn Learning and Gale Courses classes on our website (go to E-Library, and choose databases, then look for LinkedIn Learning or Gale Courses; both services allow you to search for computer and technology instruction on a variety of topics, all from home!). LinkedIn Learning provides short demonstration videos and instruction on a variety of computer topics. Gale Courses offers full 6 week, instructor-led courses on topics like Excel, Excel Pivot Tables, PowerPoint, and other technology topics (they also offer test prep, career skills classes, and more). For more information on LinkedIn Learning, Gale Courses, or other library databases, please visit the E-Library link at www.wnpl.info or ask for assistance at the Adult Services Desk.
