Join us for an evening of powerful discussion learning about the idea of placemaking - ways to love where you live by getting involved in your community and making connections with those around you.
WNPL is excited to welcome back Chris Kubic, current high school teacher and former principal, to lead yet another meaningful discussion. Chris has 20 years of experience in the field of education and is a seasoned public speaker and Congressional Debate coach. He has created curriculum for classes like Public Service Practicum and AP Psychology, and has instituted an abundance of successful community engagement initiatives.
If you are interested in discussing ways to ignite a sense of togetherness in Lake County, as well as how to get people to love and invest in their community, this workshop is for you!
Special guest Melody Warnick, author of This Is Where You Belong, will also join us virtually to share her experiences and insights on placemaking.
