Travel around India through dance and take a vibrant journey into the heart of Indian culture! This session offers an introduction to the regional dances of Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Gujarat, Maharashtra, and more, paired with enchanting stories of the people from those regions.
The participants will learn dance movements, understand their cultural significance, and explore the narratives that have shaped these traditions. It is completely beginner-friendly and recommended for ages 7 and up.

Ajanta Chakraborty is the co-founder of Bollywood Groove & Culture Groove, an Indian Dance, Education, and Publishing company that spreads the joy of Indian culture to Chicago and nationwide. She has 15 years of experience working towards raising awareness about ethnic dances, helping parents and educators raise multicultural kids, and helping corporates provide exciting cultural experiences to their employees.
