When we think of flowers, we think colors!
Why are flowers so colorful? It helps them be highly visible to birds and insects, who drink their nectar. In the process, birds and insects spread pollen, which fertilizes the flowers. So the colors of flowers are not only a thing of beauty but a matter of survival. The next time you admire a pretty flower, think about how efficient it is!
To read about flowers, go to Hoopla, enter "flower" in the search box and select "Children's Titles Only".
