Easy Monster Cookie Bars
Ingredients:
1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
1/2 cup butter softened
1 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup chocolate chunks
1 cup M&M's
Edible googly eyes
1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and line a 8 x 8 baking pan with parchment paper.
2. Cream together the peanut butter, butter and sugar until light and fluffy then beat in the vanilla and eggs.
3. Beat in the flour, a cup at a time, and add the baking powder and salt and mix well.
4. Fold in the chocolate chinks and M&M's, then press into the prepared baking pan.
5. Top with more M&M's and edible googly eyes.
6. Place in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and knife comes out clean.
7. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely before slicing and serving.
