Get your whisk, and mixing bowl and join WNPL librarians online as they demonstrate something fun for kids to do in the kitchen. (Some supervision or help is required!)

Ravioli Lasagna
Ingredients:
1 pound lean ground beef
1 teaspoon garlic
1/4 cup water
1 (25 ounce) package frozen ravioli (I use cheese or meat, or both)
1 (24 ounce) spaghetti sauce
1 cup ricotta or cottage cheese
1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
3/4 cup parmesan cheese
1. Brown the beef on the stove and add the garlic powder. Add the water and deglaze the
pan. (This means to scrape the bits off the bottom if the pan and mix into the rest of
the meat)
2. Place the cooked beef in the bottom of a 9 x 13 inch pan. Add the frozen ravioli on
top of the beef, spacing evenly. Next, pour the spaghetti sauce over the ravioli meat
mixture. Cover the pan with foil.
3. Bake 45 minutes or until the pan is bubbling on the edges.
4. Once the beef and ravioli are really hot stir in the cottage cheese (or ricotta),
mozzarella and Parmesan. Enjoy!
