Dr. Nathalie Edmund gives a deep dive into difficult topics that allows for intentional self-reflection and the understanding of others.
All of us, but white people, in particular, are challenged to explore moving away from colorblindness or neutrality about racism to becoming an anti-racist. Mindfulness can be a path to exploring our stories through the lens of race, learning our biases, and becoming allies in the quest to have freedom and equity for all. Concepts such as white supremacy, white privilege, internalized racism, microaggressions, as well as actions people can take to become an anti-racist and call people into conversations in a compassionate way. Presented by Dr. Nathalie Edmund of Mindful and Multicultural Counseling.
