Get your whisk, and mixing bowl and join WNPL librarians online as they demonstrate something fun for kids to do in the kitchen. (Some supervision or help is required!)

Taco Bake
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup onion
1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
16 ounce can tomato sauce
1 can of corn or two cups of frozen corn thawed
1 can black beans (optional)
2 cups of cheddar cheese
Crusty Topping
2 cups of Bisquick
1 cup milk
2 eggs
Instructions
1. Brown ground beef and onion in the skillet on the stove.
2. Add the taco seasoning, tomato sauce, and corn. You might also add the black beans if desired.
3. Grease a 13 x 9 inch pan. Dump the beef mixture into the pan, and level with the back of a spoon.
Crusty Topping
1. Mix the 2 cups of Bisquick, 1 cup of milk and 2 eggs together. Pour over the top of the beef mixture.
2. Bake for 35-45 minutes or until top is baked and light brown.
