An introduction to Excel, including simple spreadsheet construction, charts, and tables.

Get the feel for Excel and Excel Tables with this introductory class for people with very little or no experience with Excel. We will create simple spreadsheets and charts, and convert them into simple tables. We will briefly discuss pivot tables as well. This is a registered class, available to the first 5 people who sign up online or at the Adult Services Desk prior to the start of class. This class is not a series – each session is a repeat of the same curriculum (but feel free to attend more than one session, if you need to practice). If you can't make this class, you can still learn about computers and technology on your own time, using your WNPL library card. Check out our LinkedIn Learning and Gale Courses classes on our website (go to E-Library, and choose databases, then look for LinkedIn Learning or Gale Courses; both services allow you to search for computer and technology instruction on a variety of topics, all from home!). LinkedIn Learning provides short demonstration videos and instruction on a variety of computer topics. Gale Courses offers 6-week, instructor-led courses on topics like Excel, Excel Pivot Tables, PowerPoint, and other technology topics (they also offer test prep, career skills classes, and more).
