Come whisk, mix and join WNPL librarians as they demonstrate something fun for kids to do in the kitchen. Samples to take home. Parent or caregiver supervision and help is required.
No Bake Ding Dong Cake
Ingredients:
1 Box Ding Dongs
2 - 8 ounce containers of Cool Whip
1 - 8 ounce package of cream cheese (softened)
2 - Boxes of instant pudding; chocolate, vanilla or one of each
3 cups milk
1. Cut Ding Dongs in half lengthwise. Place the cream side up, on the bottom of a 9 x 13 inch pan. Blend one container of Cool Whip with cream cheese.
Blend until smooth and spread over Ding Dongs.
2. Mix the two boxes of instant pudding with the milk. Spread on top of the cream cheese Cool Whip mixture. Top with the second container of Cool Whip.
Refrigerate overnight. Cut and serve.
