Imagine, create, and design works of art to enter into our Teen Art Contest. Submissions will be accepted June 19th-24th. Rules available online and in The Vault.
Theme: Diverse Community
Rules:
• Submissions must be your own work. Any form of plagiarism will result in immediate
disqualification.
• You may only submit one piece of original artwork that embodies the theme of the contest.
• Pieces should 12” x 18” or smaller.
• All art mediums acceptable.
• Entries will be judged on technical quality, artistic quality, and originality by an anonymous panel
of three or more judges.
• Three prizes will be awarded:
1st place - $100 Gift Card
2nd place - $50 Gift Card for each category
3rd place - $25 Gift Card for each category
How to Enter:
Submit your finished artwork in person, along with a completed entry form, at the youth service desk.
Entry forms can be found in person in The Vault and at the Youth Desk. Entries will not be accepted without an entry form.
By entering your artwork in the Warren-Newport Public Library Teen Art Contest, you give us
permission to display and/or publish your artwork online, in print publications or in the library.
The library reserves the right to determine which pieces are appropriate for public display.
Entries will be accepted starting MON., JUNE 19.
The last day to hand in entries is SAT., JUNE 24, 5PM
