Stop by the WNPL parking lot to visit this one-of-a-kind traveling exhibit presented in partnership with Simon Wiesenthal Center Museum.
The Mobile Museum of Tolerance is a world-class learning experience utilizing innovative technology and interactive lessons to bring its message of tolerance directly to Illinois libraries, schools, and communities. The purpose of the MMOT is to inspire people of all ages and backgrounds to promote human dignity by empowering them to raise their voices to combat anti-Semitism, bullying, racism, hate and intolerance.
Adults, teens, and children (ages 10 and up) are encouraged to join us for an informative, impactful afternoon! Individuals interested in attending can visit the museum any time between 1:30-6:30pm. There will be different workshops available to attend throughout the afternoon followed by discussions led by a Mobile Museum of Tolerance presenter.
The Mobile Museum of Tolerance is wheelchair accessible and all videos shown during workshops are equipped with subtitles.
