Join us for crafting one-of-a-kind poems from repurposed printed literature using the art of blackout poetry. We will also learn about the different styles, formats, & mediums used.
Blackout poetry consists of taking any form of printed literature (book pages, newspaper clippings, magazine articles, etc.) and creating your own unique poem using carefully selected words of your choosing from the page. Poets can choose to cover or "blackout" any words they do not wish to include in their poem. No two blackout poems are ever the same.
