To help keep our community safe, SGA Youth and Family Services will be offering free firearm safety locks in the WNPL lobby while supplies last. Warren-Newport Public Library - Lobby

June is National Gun Violence Awareness Month. To help keep our community safe, SGA Youth and Family Services will be offering free firearm safety locks in the WNPL lobby while supplies last.

These locks are essential tools designed to help gun owners secure their firearms, making it more difficult for children or unauthorized individuals to access them.  We will also have resources available on safe firearm storage, as well as important 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline materials in English & Spanish.

Thank you for helping us foster a culture of safety and responsibility within our community!

About the library

Founded in 1973, the award-winning Warren-Newport Public Library serves a population of approximately 60,000 within a 55-square mile area. The library offers books, movies, and music in the collections and engaging programs for all ages. WNPL also provides many educational and entertaining online resources, including ebooks, eaudiobooks, streaming media and research databases.
