Stop by the Lake County Health Department's resource table in the WNPL lobby to receive complimentary Narcan, a brief training, and additional information on substance use prevention.
What is Narcan? Naloxone (Narcan) is a non-addictive, life-saving medication. It can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose when used in time. If you or someone you care for uses opioids, carrying Naloxone (Narcan) may just save a life.
Warren-Newport Public Library will offer a more in-depth training (1-hour in length) on Friday, August 1 from 12-1pm in partnership with the Lake County Health Department.
